A few days of radio silence! My mobile has all but completely shit itself (which was awesome when I broke down on the side of the freeway earlier this week...not) and my laptop has followed suit. The laptop I can forgive, as it has been ridden hard since it came into my world in 2005. But the phone can suck my balls, its only 12 months old!!! It has apparently reached its teen years (in mobile time) and is rebelliously hiding my texts, switching off in the middle of conversations, and refusing to connect phone calls at random. annella and eireinn the other day. I need to get a new phone right now, this is too ridiculous!
Also being given the chance to suck on my balls, is the asshole who commented anonymously and then deleted, who let me know that all this bushfire stuff is BO-RING, and that it’s a shame that after months and months and even years of virtual silence and no fanfic from me, that I have come back into activity only to disappoint people who have kept me on their flist in the hopes that I’ll actually produce something they give a shit about. Well. I guess you might feel a bit differently if you were in our shoes, and the sky was orange even kilometres away from the firefront, like it is today, and the air is full of smoke, like it is today, and every night you turn on the news to hear about more people dead, more homes and wildlife lost, and no end in sight. Or maybe you wouldn’t, because clearly you are a total fuckwit and a cunt to boot.
Because I’m at work with limited time to spare, that’s all I’m gonna say about that.

There is more of this sort of stuff all over my flist, and I just don’t know what anyone could ever say to thank you guys. I know I’m doing a poor job of even a basic thank you, because there is so much support out there that I’m missing all the posts! I also really really want to thankfrances_veritas, who was one on the first of my flisters to spread the word about this, and I felt like a huge asshole when I realised I forgot to thank you in my last post!
